ABOUT ME

My Background

After graduating with a BA in Film and Video in 2014, I began my career as a tech intern at The Orange Peel, a 1050-capacity club in Asheville, NC, and I quickly learned the ins and outs of this industry. Within a few months, I was hired on as a full-time house LD and stage manager, regularly working with national and international acts. This is where I would meet my first touring client, Car Seat Headrest, who I am still with to this day, and it wasn't long until I had the opportunity to work for several more artists subsequently.

In the years since beginning touring, I’ve worked with some of the most celebrated and well-respected artists in indie rock, designing and programming light shows for tours across several countries in North America, Central America, South America, and Europe. I am proud of my growing reputation as an extremely creative, and technically skilled lighting designer and programmer, and my list of clients coninues to grow each year because of it.

Today, lighting is my life. If I'm not on the road, I spend most of my free time brainstorming my next big design idea or tweaking my existing shows to make them as good as they can be. I'm always looking to add more clients to my roster, and to branch out by trying new and exciting ways to create visual representations of music for the artists I work for.
